Location
Greenvalleys Freeride Park is located in the lower foothills of the Illawarra Escarpment, approximately 5.5 kilometres east of Macquarie Pass and 16 kilometres west of Shellharbour.
The site consists of an area of approximately 234 hectares, with an average vertical drop of approx 200m.
Park Layout
Greenvalleys Freeride Park will be mainly a freeride mecca with big hits and fun runs for all skill levels, It will hold its own unique competitions throughout the year , but will be giving access to the Wollongong MTB club to hold its club competitons, as well as hosting state and national competitions.
The site will consist of
a variety of Freeride lines for all levels of ability
- A Downhill (DH) competition track to hold local, state and national competitions.
Length : approx 2kms
Drop : 300m
Because of endangered ecological communites on site, the DH track will consist of some very unique wood sections that will make it simply the best freeride DH track in Australia.

A Slopestyle Competition area
Length : approx 200m
Drop : approx 100m
The Slopestyle course will be designed similiar to that of Whistler MTB park's.
- A Dirt Jump area
Length : approx 200m
Drop : approx 120m
